This iconic Catrina was created to honor the energy, culture, and pride of the city we call home. From the confetti-filled joy of Fiesta to the black-and-silver spirit of the Spurs, she carries the unmistakable soul of San Antonio in every detail.
Dressed in a vivid fuchsia blouse and a flowing multicolored skirt inspired by folklórico dance and Fiesta ribbons, she celebrates life with every step. Her makeup glows with sunflower accents, and atop her head blooms a crown of marigolds and roses—centered with a silver Spurs emblem as a shining tribute to our home team.
A coiled snake necklace nods to the untamed beauty of South Texas and echoes ancient symbolism, grounding her in the natural and spiritual landscape of the region.
Behind her stands a monumental sugar skull, a reminder that remembrance can be joyful, that heritage can be bold, and that identity is worth celebrating in full color.
She dances to Selena. She parades through Fiesta. She lives the full, flavorful, and fearless life that defines what it means to be Puro San Antonio.
