iLaCatrina® will bring its signature Día de los Muertos Live Experience to The Monarch San Antonio on Thursday, October 22, 2026. This original couture production showcases breathtaking creations inspired by the artistry, symbolism, history and living traditions of Mexico.

The one of a kind evening will feature a welcoming reception by Hennessy, red carpet interviews, immersive entertainment and guest artist performances, culminating in a spectacular runway presentation with a monumental LED screen and New York Fashion Week production lighting, bringing couture, music and visual storytelling together in a cinematic setting.

Mexican-American tenor Kevin Arratia, with international opera experience, joins San Antonio mezzo-soprano Matilda de la Garza for a special vocal duet combining operatic and theatrical artistry.

Medusa Vill, the multidisciplinary artist behind Medussa Colosseum, will bring a live performance to the iLaCatrina® runway, adding movement, visual storytelling and theatrical energy to the evening. Her performance will become part of the immersive experience unfolding throughout the show.

Founded in 2009 under the artistic direction of Marisol Flores Millican, San Antonio's Alma Gitana Dance Company specializes in Mexican folklórico and Spanish flamenco. The company will bring traditional Mexican dance to the Día de los Muertos Runway Experience through colorful regional attire, choreographed movement, and the music and rhythms of Mexico's cultural heritage.
