Araminta Romero, CEO and founder of iLaCatrina, is featured in the 10th edition of Inspiring Women Magazine for her contributions to the preservation and celebration of Mexican culture. As part of this milestone edition, she was also invited as a special guest to the Inspiring Women Club luncheon, where she delivered a cultural talk and presented a live runway of new Catrina icons.

Held before a sold-out audience of business leaders, creatives, and community changemakers, the event featured iLaCatrina’s NEW ICONS presentation. Guests experienced one of the brand’s signature Catrinas previously showcased at New York Fashion Week, along with an exclusive first look at three powerful new icons from the upcoming 2025 INSPIRING HERITAGE collection. Each look was designed to reflect distinct expressions of identity, memory, and cultural pride through couture fashion and symbolic storytelling.

As guest speaker, Araminta guided the audience through the history and evolution of Día de Muertos, highlighting its indigenous roots and contemporary relevance. Her presentation offered rich context for the runway, connecting the visual narrative to centuries of tradition and the enduring impact of cultural expression.
