Fiesta San Antonio, established in 1891, is a beloved citywide tradition that honors the rich cultural tapestry of our community. With over 130 years of history, it has grown into one of the largest and most spirited celebrations in Texas—uniting residents and visitors through parades, music, and heritage.
This year’s Catrina, unveiled in spring 2025, captures the essence of that tradition. Her full circle skirt evokes the graceful movements of folkloric dance, symbolizing the rhythm and resilience of Mexican culture. Crafted from layers of colorful organza, the ensemble mirrors the vibrant wreaths that adorn San Antonio’s doors during Fiesta season—radiating joy, pride, and cultural unity.
