Las Revolucionarias come to the Mexican Cultural Institute in San Antonio on Thursday, November 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM, as iLaCatrina® presents a cultural runway production honoring the women whose courage, ideas, voices, and actions shaped the Mexican Revolution and Mexico’s transformation in the early twentieth century.

On Thursday, November 19, 2026, iLaCatrina® presents Las Revolucionarias, a collection inspired by the women of the Mexican Revolution and the many roles they held as combatants, organizers, journalists, political thinkers, activists, and voices of the pueblo.

Through original attire, handcrafted artistry, historical storytelling, music, movement, and visual production, the runway brings their stories into motion. The collection highlights women including Carmen Serdán, Adela Velarde Pérez, Petra Herrera, Hermila Galindo, Dolores Jiménez y Muro, and Juana Belén Gutiérrez de Mendoza, recognizing distinct contributions that extended far beyond the traditional image of the Adelita.
