Mexican heritage takes center stage at The Shops at La Cantera as iLaCatrina® brings its signature cultural runway experience to Center Court, combining Catrina couture, live music, performance, and immersive visual storytelling in an open-air production.
On Sunday, October 11, 2026, iLaCatrina® presents Ancestral México and Puro Corazón, two collections inspired by Mexico’s ancestral roots, cultural symbolism, artistry, color, music, and traditions. Each Catrina carries a story, bringing handcrafted creations together with music, movement, live performance, and visual environments inspired by Mexico’s history, artistry, and traditions.
The evening features live performances by Medusa Vill, William Prentiss, mezzo-soprano Matilda de la Garza, tenor Kevin Arratia, and PJ Entertainment, and a runway production with music by DJ Axelot, and immersive visuals by DJ Regio.
The event is open to the public. Seating in designated areas is available on a first come, first served basis.

The iLaCatrina® DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS LIVE EXPERIENCE brings Mexican history, art, music, and tradition into motion through handcrafted Catrina couture, live performance, and immersive audiovisual storytelling.
Presented on international stages including New York Fashion Week, Las Vegas, and Boston, iLaCatrina® creates original productions where each Catrina carries a story inspired by Mexico’s cultural heritage.
At The Shops at La Cantera, the experience unfolds through two signature collections, Ancestral México and Puro Corazón, accompanied by a curated program of music, live performance, and immersive visuals.
iLACATRINA: THE RUNWAY
This year’s presentation features Ancestral México, inspired by Mexico’s ancestral symbolism, mythology, and artistic traditions, and Puro Corazón, celebrating the Mexican culture, color, and traditions woven into the identity of San Antonio.
GUEST ARTIST WILLIAM PRENTISS
William Prentiss will embody the evening’s Catrín, bringing a refined masculine counterpart to the iLaCatrina® icons throughout the experience. Rather than appearing as a musical performer, his role is woven directly into the runway presentation, where he will help create elegant transitions between moments on the catwalk.
RED CARPET WITH JULES ALDAZ
Fashion stylist, on camera expert, writer, and red carpet correspondent Jules Aldaz will lead the arrival experience, interviewing guests and capturing the personalities, fashion, and energy of the evening before the runway begins.
RADIANT MOMENTS PHOTOBOOTH
Guests can enjoy the Radiant Moments Photo Booth during the networking hour before the show, capturing polished, shareable portraits with friends against the iLaCatrina® backdrop.
BACKSTAGE ACCESS BY JENEVY
Jenevy Sims will take guests beyond the runway with backstage access, capturing the preparation, personalities, and energy that happen before the models step into the spotlight.
TV HOST & MC ALONDRA LUNA
Alondra Luna, television host and cultural advocate, will serve as the event MC, guiding guests through the evening and connecting each part of the experience from the opening moments through the runway presentation.
TENOR KEVIN ARRATIA
Mexican American tenor Kevin Arratia Diaz returns to the iLaCatrina® experience with a live vocal performance that brings a classical dimension to the runway production. Kevin has performed with Opera San Antonio, Austin Opera, Texas Opera Concert Collective, One Ounce Opera, and other companies, and has trained and performed internationally through programs in Italy.
MEZZO SOPRANO MATILDA DE LA GARZA
San Antonio based mezzo soprano and performer Matilda de la Garza brings a young but already developed theatrical voice to the evening. Her background includes musical theater, acting, and vocal training, with stage credits in productions such as Mean Girls Jr., Singing in the Rain, and 9 to 5, along with training through Broadway Artists Alliance in New York.
PJ ENTERTAINMENT
Stilt performers from PJ Entertainment will move through the reception as guests arrive, creating a dramatic visual welcome before the runway begins. Their scale and movement make them part of the environment rather than a traditional stage act, giving guests an immediate sense that they are entering a theatrical Día de los Muertos experience.
PERFORMANCE BY MEDUSA VIL
Medusa Vill, the multidisciplinary artist behind Medussa Colosseum, will bring a live performance to the iLaCatrina® runway, adding movement, visual storytelling and theatrical energy to the evening. Her performance will become part of the immersive experience unfolding throughout the show.
OFFICIAL POSTER SIGNING BY ARTIST MARTY LEAL
San Antonio born artist Marty Leal, creator of the Official Fiesta San Antonio 2025 Poster, has created an original commemorative artwork for iLaCatrina®. Meet Marty at The Shops at La Cantera, where he will be signing posters live during the runway event.
JOAO QUIROZ LIVE PAINTING
San Antonio artist Joao Quiroz will create live beside the iLaCatrina® runway. Known for his vibrant color and expressive work inspired by Mexican culture and San Antonio, Joao brings the creative process directly into the experience for guests to enjoy throughout the evening.
LIMITED EDITION COMMEMORATIVE PROGRAMS
AlphaGraphics brings the iLaCatrina® experience into print through the production of the official event programs, designed to guide guests through the evening while showcasing the collections, icons, performers, partners and creative details behind the runway experience.

A monumental LED screen, elevated runway, stage and architectural lighting transform Center Court into an immersive visual environment for the iLaCatrina® Día de los Muertos Experience. The full visual production is led by Eduardo Melendez, Visual Engineer and owner of DJ Regio Productions
DJ MUSIC EXPERIENCE
DJ Axelot, Angel Cisneros, brings a dynamic musical presence to the iLaCatrina® experience. His sets are designed to move with the production, blending contemporary sounds, Latin influences and high energy selections that complement the fashion, movement and visual storytelling on stage.
